The sun is out and it feels like a summer day. What does this mean, this heat wave in January? I am thinking this will mean a rainy February and March. Just my prediction. I don't mind the rain, I don't like driving on the freeway in the rain but I love the wet season. I had to run some errands today and I had my air conditioner on, the temperature gauge in my car said 77 degrees..so not right for winter. As soon as I got out of the car I was regretting wearing a long sleeved shirt!
Next on my to-do list was to find E a new car seat. She will be a year next month and is getting to big and too heavy for the infant carrier she is in. Of course, my luck, the car seat that I have picked can only be purchased online. I hate having to wait for things. I like being able to go in, buy it, and leave with it in my hot little hands. I was hoping to have it before we took our long car ride to San Jose for T's hockey tournament, but no such luck. Here is Emily's new ride...well the on I have my eye on so far...
I think a new car seat is good birthday gift, right? We had a Britax brand car seat for T and really liked it, so we are going to stick with the brand for E. She will be able to stay in here until 40 pounds or until she moves into a booster seat.
For lunch we had leftovers, which to me, means saving money and not wasting food! I HATE wasting food. My husband had his piece of chicken along side corn and green beans, the baby had a little of everything, and I made a chicken and cheese quesadilla with a side of veggies. Look at this little girl go!
What to do the rest of this Friday night? I can catch up on laundry and my shows that are on DVR...that sounds like a plan to me! Have a great night Friends!

Wednesday Has Came and Went.
Tomorrow is already Thursday! Love that the weekend is near. Today started off quietly but then from noon until just now, almost 9:00 at night, it has been non stop. My morning went well. The baby woke up and wanted to nurse so she was up and then fell back asleep for another hour and a half. That was ok though because I drank two cups of coffee and caught up on two of my shows that were on my DVR. The Bachelor and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Anyone else get sucked into either of these shows?!
I felt so bad for him after he proposed to Ashley and was denied. But I really liked JP for her, plus I thought JP looked like my husband:)

After her nap we shared a late breakfast/early lunch. She loves yogurt! This morning it was plain yogurt with strawberries, blueberries, and red seedless grapes, she gobbled it up! I mean, look at her, see how happy she is:)
Soon after we at it was already noon and I still had to make it down to Target and get back before T got out of school. I hate being rushed anywhere, Target especially. I am one of those Target shoppers that likes to look at many of the departments for deals and what not. I also like to always take a look over the clearance sections, who doesn't like a deal?!?!? As soon as we got home it was time to pick up T where she changed her clothes, rested for a little bit and we were off in the car again to get to hockey practice by 4:30. She practiced from 5-6:30. It was almost 8:00 by the time we got home. We picked up meals from Fresh and Easy so dinner was a no brainer tonight. Both grabbed an easy pasta dish, E loves pasta, I mean look at the pics below:) My husband scarfed down his spaghetti and meatballs and was out the door to get to his hockey practice that started at 9:30. T practiced in Ontario, husband went to Riverside. Soon after dinner was over I got both girls in the bath and am now letting the baby play while I type away. I am hoping T is already asleep in bed and that E is getting sleepy cause I know I am! My plan for the rest of the night? Reading while I feed baby and then after she falls asleep I will read until my eyes hurt. I am reading, The Lovely Bones. I am about 100 pages in and I still don't know what I think about it just yet. Everyone that has read it says that it is a great book, so I am looking forward to it getting good.

Are these women for real?
As for the Housewives, I just can't believe just how much money these people have! These huge houses, fancy cars, and the way they dress. I don't think I'd fit in with that crowd.

I love Luna bars and I think I may have just found my new favorite one! Someone on my Instagram posted a picture of these peppermint ones and I was like, "Oh man I have to try these!" But I thought they are probably seasonal and I will just have to wait until next Christmas. I was super excited when I found them at Target, I grabbed two and couldn't wait to rip one open. Well, the verdict is in...these aren't just great, they are...AWESOME! I may have to buy more..soon! The cool thing is that T liked them too and they are full of great things, so it may be something she can eat before she plays hockey! We shall try them out for her:)
Well, I think I am going to try to get the baby to sleep, this mama is ready to turn the lights down and relax! It has been a busy, long, and eventful Wednesday. have a great rest of the night Friends!

Coffee...
Coffee...I get it ready before I go to bed so all I have to do when I wake up is go downstairs, pour the water in and close the lid and it starts. I usually am in a morning fog so these two simple steps makes it easy for me! However, I woke up this morning and the first thing I thought of was, "Oh crap I forgot to go out and buy a can of coffee!!" Coffee is literally what motivates me to get out of bed in the morning. In my hosue I am always the first one up. Not my kiddos, me. M-F I wake up T around 7-7:30 and then I wake the baby a couple minutes before we leave. On the weekends they both sleep in for a good hour to two hours after I have already gotten up. I am so very lucky and so very thankful, I know that it won't always be like this so I take full advantage! With no coffee in the house this meant a quick trip to the store before taking T to school. Our grocery store is less then 2 miles away so I ran in, grabbed coffee and took T to school. Thank goodness I have a fast coffee machine, from the time I got into the door til I was sipping happily on my coffee was less than 10 mins.......Here it is in all its glory:)
A new mug from my mom and sister from our favorite lunching spot..Corner Bakery!
They love eachother!
My husband just doesn't get it..fake farm?! Huh?!
The girls are bathed, dinner is done, eaten and dishes have been cleaned, one of the kiddos is sleeping, the other is playing on her computer. I'm off to sit with my husband and try to watch a little tv, but by the sound of it, or the lack of sound I should say, he probably fell asleep on the couch waiting for me to come down. Have a great night Friends!

Laay Sunday...I mean Lazy Monday...
Today felt like a lazy Sunday but instead it was a lazy, lazy, very lazy Monday! Days that are filled with nothing are a nice way to re-charge your battery and take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Sadly, T has to go back to school tomorrow after being off for her 2 week Christmas Break. I really enjoy her being home. But it will be nice getting back on a daily routine, the house seems to run better that way. I am sure T is ready to get back to school and see her friends too. The nice thing is that the next 3 weeks of school for her are only 4 day school weeks instead of 5, then before we know it Spring Break will be here and she gets 2 weeks for that. Then before I know it summer will be here!
The wheels in my mind are already turning, thinking about how we can try to do a family vacation this year. I'd love something by the beach where the girls can play and we can play with them and just relax all together. Beach camping? Renting a beach house? Driving up the coast and stopping at beaches along the way? I haven't seen much of our beautiful country so I'd love to do a roadtrip, stopping at some landmarks as we drive. So many decisions, so many great places to see and things to do. Crossing my fingers that we can actually say we are going to do it and follow through and do it.
I went off on a little tangent I see, back to today, present time, not future summer plans:) We stayed in our pajamas today, watched the Winter Classic, which I am so glad the NY Rangers won, Flyers can kiss my butt, ate English Muffins, played the Kinect, the girls played, and just vegged out. Like I said before, you need that once in awhile.
Have a great night Friends! A couple of pictures from our oh so eventful day...

Is It Really Winter In Southern California?!?!
I had to go down to Chino to pick up T from her Grammy and Papa vacation:) I swear she would live there if she could! I just can't believe the weather out here at this time of year. I really don't know if I like it being so warm in the Winter months. The jury is still out I guess. Some days I enjoy it and other days I want to wear my boots and scarf. I knew it was supposed to be in the mid 80's, yes the mid 80's, in January no less, it is just crazy, so I ditched my socks and shoes for my flip flops. I pack up E and Penny and we were off. It was a nice 45 minute drive, there was close to nobody on the freeway.
My parents have a great backyard for sitting on the patio and chatting. The baby loves to be outside exploring and we can sit out there and watch her while enjoying the sun and chatting away, one of our favorite past times. We are just Chatty Cathys when we get together. T snached up my camera and started snapping away. I always say you can take a 100 pictures and as long as you got 1 great shot, it was a success. Well, my little photographer got more than 1, she got a couple!
I can't beleive how big she is getting! They grow too fast! I love that last picture of E and my parents pug, Lucy! They really love eachother:)
I promised my mom and sister that I would cook them dinner tonight, give my mom the night off. I really have come to enjoy cooking and trying new recipes. I came across this one on the Kraft website and I just had to try it! Here is the link to the page www.kraftrecipes.com I use it often.
Type in Creamy White Chicken and Artichoke Lasagna and the recipe, along with a video will be there! I thought it tasted really good and even E liked it! It would be really good to exchange the sun dried tomatoes for jalepenos, or spinach, or mushrooms. I mean you could really get creative! I hope you get a a chance to make it, I am sure your families will LOVE it! I can't wait to make it for my husband:) I mean check out the pictures.....
Well Friends, my baby is finally up and wanting to eat so I must end this for now. I have a couple things I need to do today, but staying home in my pajamas seems a little more exciting to me, so we will see, There is always tomorrow to get things done, right? Haha! Have a great day Friends:)

Wow, What a Year for the Freestone Four!
2011 has seriously come and gone in a blink of an eye! But even though it went fast it was a great, great, great year! We had an addition to our family with a beautiful baby girl in early January, it was a great way to start our year:) We were starting to get heavily into our other daughter's hockey team and we are so proud of how rough and tough she has become. Who would have know she had that competive spirit inside her girly little frame! She is a force to be rekoned with I tell ya!
We FINALLY got a BBQ, we bought it with the gift cards we received from Christmas and thought New Year's Eve was a great time to break it in! Stater Bros had NY Steaks on sale so we bought a couple, along with some squash, zucchini, onion, and mushrooms, that I was going to slice up and place in a foil pack along side the meat. We were so excited.
We actually had a great night. T was at my parents house to bring in the New Year, it has been a tradition for them for the past couple of years. So it was just me, the husband, baby, and the fuzzy Penny! There was no place I would have rather been than at home with them. We went to bed around 10, I must have slept really good because I didn't hear a thing, no fireworks, no dogs barking, no nothing!
Resolutions? Nothing big for me. Baby steps, small goals seem to work best for me! I plan to love a little more, hug a little more, and look on the brightside of every situation. What will 2012 bring the Freestone Four? Who knows, but I sure can't wait to find out!!!! Here's to a great 2012 to all and hope that it brings you nothing but happiness, health, and lots of luck and laughter!!

I feel So Lucky...
So lucky to have great friends! We hardly ever get houseguests since we live out in the boonies, so when we do we are always over excited! Our good friends Duston and Ashley we taking family pictures up in Oak Glen and we are right below Oak Glen, so they were going to stop by and we were going to watch the Boston Bruins game, which sadly they lost, and eat pizza and let all the kiddos play. Between our two families there were 6 kids! The two babies, Bentley and our E play so good together, we have playdates every couple weeks so they are buds:)
We gobbled up the pizzas and the two dads drank up the beer, the two mamas just sat, chatted, and watched the babies play. After they left the husband and I were saying how nice it was to have friends over. Hopefully they come back sooner than later! Good friends are hard to find so hold on to the good ones!!!
Have a great rest of the night Friends!
