Woke up and was so excited to have creamer! I sat and drank coffee for about 30 minutes or so while everyone was still sleeping. The apartment was quiet, it was nice.
I started waking up my crew and we were out out of the house after about an hour. It was another cool weathered day. It had rained through the night but for now the rain was gone. The girls are happy too!!
We headed to the subway and went to catch the Duck Boats. The Duck Boat tour was awesome. It was an hour on land and 20 mins in the Charles River. It took us all over Boston. We drove into the water and the next thing we knew, Tay was driving it!
She was a little nervous, but it was all in good fun. The guide went around the bus and asked us where we were all from, it was a mixed bus. From California, South Carolina, Denmark, South Africa, and as far as Abu Dabi. I don't know if I'm even spelling that right:) Here's some pics of our ride through the city.
With our tour ticket we also got a Science Museum admission ticket. Tay was super excited, she loves museums. It was another subway ride away. Still no rain, that was good!
The Science Museum was huge. We spent a long time there and still didn't see it all. Both girls had a blast though. We even went to a show at the planetarium. It was about all the moons in our solar system. Em really enjoyed it. There were a couple kiddos in there crying, not ours. She was in awe. We may have a little scientist on our hands!
It was a long day so we decided to just eat at home for dinner. We had bought some meals at Whole Foods yesterday so we were just going to eat those. Lasagna for him, eggplant parm for me. The girls had chicken tenders and some strawberries. We are all ready for bed. Walking the Freedom Trail tomorrow!!! US history, here we come!
One last picture, this was what we saw coming out if the subway station. Breathtaking!
