Finally...

I am finally getting a second to gather my thoughts and sit and type. I have been non stop since Friday! So let me catch you up on the Freestone Four and our happenings...

Friday T and her hockey team got to go down during the first intermission and play a 6 minute little scrimmage against each other. It was to promote girls playing hockey and to show other girls that girls can be hockey players just like boys can. Tay had her own little cheering section and man, did she bring it! She got 3 or 4 breakaways and was a total standout. I was so proud of her. My husband was one of 4 dads that were down there just to keep the game going, he said he couldn't believe the crowd and how loud thy were. How loud they were cheering for our baby! The girls did great and had so much fun hanging out as a tam and just goofing around being kids.
She loves to see herself in the phone!

Hockey Fight!
The Lady Reign playing..

Both on Grammy's lap!

Go Girls!
SO that was my Friday night. We got home really late and had to be back for TWO hockey games the next morning, at 9 and at 10. Saturday the girls actually played well, considering the night before. Tay went to my parents house after her games, we went home and relaxed. BBQ-ed for dinner. It was a mellow afternoon into the night.

Sunday was yet another hockey day. But Sunday's are my husband's day to play. He played two games and then afterwards we all went to pizza afterwards. The whole team. It is pretty cool though because 4 dads of girls who play on the Lady Reign also play together on an adult league team. So it was a huge group of probably close to 40 all together! It was great. We ate pizza, drank beer, well I didn't drink beer but the guys did, and just enjoyed each others company.

Today was a holiday so there was no school. I took the girls out early to get some stuff done. I was glad to get home though, the weather here today was cold and rainy with a little hail. I just wanted to be home where it was warm!

That about wraps it up, in a nutshell anyway. Plus my baby is on my lap and the minutes are passing by where I can still type. She is getting antsy in my lap. I don't blame her, it is close to her bedtime anyway. Have a great rest of the night Friends, I will leave you with some pictures from today....
For her party tomorrow!
I make her bag:)

Look what I found at Fresh and Easy!

Hard at work....

Weird Day. Full Moon?

My morning started off great! My husband got up earlier than I and got T ready and the coffee going. He was braving Disneyland alone with two 9 year old girls! Remember how they went to a hockey tournament last month and both scored and worked really hard? Well, total was the day that he paid up! The day couldn't be any more beautiful than it was today. 80's in the OC??!!! Nice! A perfect Disneyland Day:) I would be lying if I didn't say that I was a tad bit jealous as they drove off to a day full of fun, sun, laughter, and great food:( But to see those girls over the moon excited put me back in my place and I said to myself, "this day isn't about you, it is about the girls." Sometimes I just need to check myself. My husband promised that the next trip would be a family one, I am just hoping that it is sometime soon and not in a tear from now, or something crazy like that. He did keep me posted on their day and how the girls were doing. He said that he had to actually make them sit and eat and drink water, they were just on the move! How exciting, Disneyland as a kid, I don't know what could be better. Plus, they are old enough to go on all the "big kid," rides now. The last time I talked to my husband, it was around 5;00 and he said that there was no waiting for California Screamin so they girls just kept going on it, I think he said that this was their 3rd or 4th time. To be a kid again!!! Here are some of the pictures that were sent to me:
Look how scared Genny is on Space Mountain??!!

California Screamin!
My husband said that after the first roller coaster they were pumped up for more. By the end of the night they will be roller coaster pros! I am sure my husband is going to be one pooped out Papa when he gets home:) I think me and the baby would have just slowed them down. I hope we get to take the baby soon, I think she is a good age, so curious, and observant. Perfect place to go for her and a place to have some family fun!

After they left I grabbed a big mug of coffee. I had some things to do but wanted to waste my morning drinking coffee and watching some of my trash tv. I got to do both while the baby played and even got to shower as she napped. I even got to eat some breakfast, man I was getting a lot done!
My mug from Las Vegas:)
So, my morning as you can see was a great one. I was getting things done! Checking stuff on my list. Now comes where my weird part to the day started.....

I never really pay attention when I come my hair, usually I don't ever "fix" it, I just throw it up in a knot and go. Doing my hair takes too long! But I was shocked, sad, about to cry when I caught a glimpse of my hair in the bathroom mirror....GRAY! I almost spelled it GREY, like Grey's Anatomy, which is on tonight! Whoop! Off topic, sorry. Back to the grAy hairs. I knew I had gray but no THIS much gray:( I'm only 32 and I have little to no stress in my life, so where did all these new ones come up? Is the myth true that if you pull one, ten more come to the party?!?!? I need my hair dyed...bad.....I need to call my  sister for some help. I mean check it out in all its glory....even my eyes were mad!
Waaaaaaaaa!!!!
Next, I was driving down to Sports Chalet. I like to run with a visor. I like Nike, so naturally I want a black Nike visor. I should be able to go down to a SPORTS store with SPORT even its name and get one, right?! Wrong. Every brand BUT Nike:( Damn. That sucks. Weird that a sporting good place would not carry something of this nature. I guess I'll just have to buy t online, which I was going to do but I wanted it in my hot little hands now. If I would have ordered it when I wanted it I would have it by now. I need to just listen to my own advise sometimes. Haven't I said this already?

Then it was on to Kohl's. I love Kohl's. Always had great luck there. I did fid some cute workout stuff, two running tanks and some running socks. And some blue and black Nike running shorts on the clearance rack for $12! Score. Ok, so nothing weird happened there, but at Target, my next stop there was a weird dude. I was in the baby aisle, no wierdos are ever in the baby section right? Not today folks. Now when I am shopping with someone I'm not loud to where someone on the next aisle can hear everything I say. This guy was talking so loud and was f thing f that I was like geese who is is talking to like that? It was his girlfriend or wife. I actually left the baby section cause I couldn't take his rudeness any longer. So I went over to the books, the next thing I knew he was in the books! I'm like holy geese why can't I get away from this dude. I hate when my space is invaded while I am trying to look at stuff and enjoy my shopping experience! I don't do that to people, I would like it if people are as nice. After almost an hour in the store I finally am ready to check out.  Guess who comes into the line next to me??!! yep! Wasn't I the luck one today. I seriously thought I was being punked! Man, was I glad to get the heck out of there!

One last weird thing. Do you ever have something you see in the street or on the side of the freeway or something and it creeps you out? I do. Shoes. Or I should say, shoe, singular. When  I see a shoe just lying there in the street I always think the worst. I always think someone got hit by a car and their shoe came off. I know. Weird.

We came home and rested, that outing tired us out! But I knew that I wanted to get our daily jog/walk/play to the park done. Thank goodness we did because it was great outside!

How pretty!!
We came home from the park hungry. What to make for just baby and Mama? I had leftover chicken and broccoli from last night. I had some spaghetti sauce and some noodles. A match made in heaven. Quick, easy, and baby loved it! Bath is done, and baby is already asleep. I am just going to wait for my family to come home and live through all their fun stories! Have a great night Friends!

The sun was back today.

When it was so chilly yesterday I was hoping that the cold would stay. Not so lucky, it was warm, sunny, and clear, today. My husband finally came home today, this was a long 72 hour shift this week. Sometimes they go by fast, others, like this week, went super slow. I couldn't wait to see him, yes, even after all these years I still miss him tons when he goes to work. When he got home E was quietly playing with her staking blocks while I was quietly sipping my coffee. As soon as he walked in she ran to him and gave him the biggest hug! She is all into hugs and kisses right now. Big bear hugs! I love it:) After coffee and chatting with him I made breakfast. Scrambled eggs on an English muffin that was buttered and jellied, and half of a hash brown on it too. It was so good!! I was ready to start my day. We had a few errands to run, we are needing to change some stuff on our phones so we had to go to the AT&T store here in town. After we were done I was ready to get our daily jog/walk in. The day was so nice that I had to take advantage of it. Baby loves the park anyway so it is a nice place for us to go and play and have fun together.

Gotta keep hydrated! Mama's water, Baby's water!

After T got out of school it was off to hockey. The ice rink we practice at on Wednesday's is close to my sister's work. So she met us over there. I love my sister! It was great to catch up on life and just get some laughs in:) Tay worked hard in practice, so hard that she broke her hockey stick. She was so bummed, but was kinda excited at the same  time. A broken stick means that you are playing hard!
Dad always ties her skates!
Me, my sister, and E:)
She skates so fast it is always hard to get a clear picture of her!
We stopped by, you guessed it, Fresh and Easy on the way home to grab something for dinner and my husband volunteered to go in while I stayed inside with the sleeping baby. It wasn't until we got home and unloaded the groceries that I saw the couple treats he bought me. My favorite, carrot, peach, and mango juice! Mmmmm....so good! My yogurt with granola and berries, which will be great for breakfast, and eggs. Yes eggs. But not just regular eggs. Brown eggs, brown eggs from non-caged hens. Hens that are allowed to roam free! My favorite type of eggs, I like knowing that the eggs I am eating came from happy hens! Makes them taste better;)

Until tomorrow Friends! Night!

Hot Water!

I will never take hot water for granted again! The plumber came and fixed it and 5 minutes later the baby was down for a nap and this mama was in one of the best showers of my life!!!! I swear I took a 30 minute shower, well maybe not 30 minutes, but it sure felt like it! The girls are in the bath as we speak, or type in my case. The rest of the day was spent inside, it was a cold rainy day here today. I welcomed the weather, finally feels like winter. I didn't even get my workout in because we couldn't get to the park. I could have braved it but I didn't want the baby out there. I spent most of my day picking up the house, since my husband comes home after 72 hours at work, the least I can do is have him come home to a clean house. Here is some pictures of our exciting day at home!
My second favorite coffee mug!

Loves her new books from Grammy:)

Sissy and Sissy playing with the camera!

My big girl:)
#febphotoaday Buttons: I use these daily.
Have a great rest of the night Friends! The baby is already asleep so I'm taking advantage and going to sit and snuggle with my big girl! She's 9 but still loves it when Mama holds her!!

Too much drama for this Mama!

I tend to stay out of drama, I try to at least. I enjoy the safety in the little bubble that my husband and I have created for ourselves and our daughters. I just try not to create it, and don't talk to people or associate myself with people who are all into the drama. I try. My husband always tells me, "the only people we have to worry about is us and our girls." I stick to that and try not to get drawn in. Anyone else with me on this one? I know Windizzle will know what I am talking about:)
Besides the drama, I had a pretty good day! Well, let me say it another way...it STARTED out as a great day and slowly has been ending on a not so good note. I went to get the girls in the bath tonight, 7:00, you know how I am. The water would not get hot. I tried the shower..nothing...all the faucets..nothing. Of course, this stuff always happens on the nights that my husband is at work, about 45 miles and 36 hours away. I called our friend around the corner who is a plumber and he quickly came over. I really don't know how to do anything "manly" around the house. My Dad was the only guy in the house with my sister, mom , and I. So all the "manly" duties he did. Probably enjoyed doing those types of things to get away from all the girls in the house! Tangent! I hate when I do that:) Anyways, back to my story. Come to find out one of the tubing to the pilot light is bad. I think that is right? I'm telling you, anything to do with man stuff, I'm clueless. Thank goodness he can stop by tomorrow and fix it. The girls can't do another day without bathing. One night won't kill them, hopefully. I guess if they were really bad I could always do it old school and boil water and slowly fill up the bath. Hot water, the finer things in life. Murphy's Law though, things like this ONLY happen when my husband is at work!! It could be worse, like our heater went out, or no water at all, or no electricity. Things could always be worse. Not giving my girls or my self a nightly cleaning isn't going to kill us.
I did manage to snap a couple pictures today though!
Books!

A thrift store find!
#febphotoaday Day 6. Dinner: Black Bean and Lime Rice Burrito from Fresh and Easy..not so healthy, but oh so good!

Love Face Time!
This was from last night but I had to share. They sit and just talk, and make goofy faces to each other. They both love it, and so do I! Video chatting seems so Jetsons!!!!
That is all for now Friends. I am off to sit and relax with the girls before we head off to bed in about 30 minutes. Have a great rest of the night!

Celebrated two beautiful girls today!

I woke up to this...
Great bedhead! She must have slept good!!
She slept in a little bit this morning, thank goodness, we have been staying up way to late and I have been dragging ass in the morning. You all know I usually try to get to bed by 9:00, 9:30 at the latest. Well, I haven't been going to bed until after 11! Way too late!! So, I have been paying for it in the morning. The baby will get up at the same time regardless of what time Mama goes to bed. I was thankful for a morning nap, gave me a chance to get in the shower and take more than I quick 5 minute shower. That made me happy.

Day 5. 10:00: A napping baby!
Sleeping away!
I went down to my parents house today for a couple reasons. One was because they were dying to see the girls. It has been way too long since they have seen them. We were sick (remember that) and then they got sick. Then schedules just got crazy, so needless to say, it has been awhile. Another reason was because E's birthday party got cancelled and they wanted to celebrate it. Yes, I know her birthday was almost  a month ago..schedules have been nuts! They bought her a little slice of cake, it was a Strawberry Shortcake cake. So good, not too sweet and not too heavy. We sang Happy Birthday and she got messy. That's what 1st birthday's are all about, right? She opened presents and got some clothes and some books! I was excited about the books, she loves her books:) Also, I was happy because she finally got to wear her Birthday outfit that Tay had picked out for her. So cute. We spent the other part of the day outside, enjoying the 75 degree California Winter weather. Yes, I said it, 75!
My Dad and I, and Penny! He was taking a break from mowing the backyard, I tried to snap a  pic with him too but was not successful!
She loves it outside!

Running.....
Mmmmmm...another birthday cake for me!!!

Sissy helping Sissy with all her new pretties. AKA, beads:)
As I celebrate our little girl, one life. We also celebrated a new life that came into our world. Meet Little Miss Brooklyn!
7 pounds 2 ounces of pure love!!!
This is our dear friends, Ashley and Dustin's newest little bundle! I can't wait to hold her and kiss her!
Pretty Mama and pretty Baby!

Daddy and his new little girl!
Two precious little girls were celebrated today, Emi and Brooklyn. I can't wait until they can play together:) I love little girls and think that they are just the sweetest things ever. She has two great parents as well, and also 3 brothers and 1 sister to look up too. She is the baby of 5!
What a great day it has been! Sad to see the weekend has come to an end though. Monday will be here way too soon. I don't like Mondays. Hoping this week goes by fast! Have a great night Friends!
